Local Love from the National Post

Yesterday we got a call from Rob Roberts who I believe is the Toronto Editor for the National Post. He saw the press we received yesterday and wanted to setup a telephone interview!

Mike and I setup a quick conference call, and Rob accommodated us graciously through our first interview. We talked about the origins of the project, the opinion of the TTC and a few other seemingly simple questions.

I expected them to run a small shout-out, perhaps in the shopping section, but Mr. Roberts surprised me by producing what I think is a truly compelling article about the fading glory of the TTC Subway designs and featured it in the A section of the Toronto edition. His article even changed my perspective slightly on why people feel so strongly towards the subway designs, and how our decals fit into the zeitgeist of the city.

Thanks Rob!
